The ship's band formed up on the quarterdeck of HMS 'Aurora' (1913)
A view along the length of the quarterdeck looking slightly to port of the ship's band formed up on the starboard side. The photograph was taken from the top of the starboard after 4 inch gun. In the background can be seen the after 6 inch gun blast screen covered with splinter matting. The bandmaster has the badges of a Gunner's Mate and the drummer on the far left is a Stoker. Most of the band are playing flutes or piccolos.
