Two racks of six inch shells in the ready-use racks on the quarterdeck of the light cruiser HMS 'Aurora' (1913). The photographer was standing near the after four inch gun on the port side and looking to starboard and aft. In the background is the after six inch gun blast screen. The skylights and hatches have been shut and locked, although the stove pipe is still in position.
