Badge and star: Order of Dannebrog, 2nd class
Awarded to Admiral Sir Lewis Bayly. Badge: Oblong gold cross enamelled white with red edges, with gold crown between each of the limbs, the initial and crown of Christian V in the centre, the whole surmounted by the cypher and crown of the reigning sovereign. The words "GUD OG KONGEN" are on the four arms of the cross. The reverse has the dates "1219" "1671" and "1808" in gold lettering on the white enamel to mark the years of the foundation, renewal and reorganisation, also the initial "W" for Waldemar II the founder, and Fr VI from Fredrik VI who reorganised the Order in 1808. The badge is worn from the right hip from a white sash with red borders passing over the left shoulder.
