Richard R. Wallace, RN Clerk, asleep on a blanket on the quarterdeck of the light cruiser HMS 'Aurora' (1913). He was asleep between the Carley float and the after skylight. In the background are the bollard and chains readied for emergency towing. The photographer was standing on the port side of the quarterdeck beside the Carley float (or possibly standing in it).
