Canadian forces. The ship has been painted dark grey. The ship carried the first draft of the 34th Battalion; the 36th Battalion, Hamilton; reinforcements from the 55th Battalion, New Brunswick and the 84th of London. The Corsican departed Montreal on 19 June 1915 and arrived at Plymouth on 28 June 1915 [Calgary Daily Herald, 29 June 1915].

HMS Aurora arrived at Plymouth on the evening of 28 June 1915 prior to being refitted during July.

The negative has some scratches and is slightly grainy.
