A distant starboard broadside view of the German trawler Resie (1891) underway with her mizzen sail set. The photographer was standing on board the light cruiser HMS Aurora (1913).

The Aurora was on patrol from 6 October to the morning of 8 October, zig zagging as required for examining trawlers. The Resie was brought into Harwich as a prize and taken into the Royal Navy as the Clearsin.
