Scale 1:48. A dyeline copy of a plan showing the sheer lines, longitudinal half breadth and body plan design drawing for the modified L class destoryers and leader (1939). The drawing bears the signature of Stanley Vernon Goodall [Director of Naval Construction 1936-1944]. The plan also bears the stamps and Director's signatures of Fairfield Shipbuilding Company, dated 10 August 1940, Vickers Armstrongs Ltd, dated 21 April 1941, Alexander Stephens & Company, dated 2 August 1941 and Scotts Shipbuilding Comapny, dated19 August 1941. Based on these stamps, this plan relates to Lookout (1940), Loyal (1941), Mahratta [ex-Marksman] (1942), Marne (1940), Martin (1940), Matchless (1941), Meteor (1941), Milne (1941), Musketeer (1941) and Orkan [ex-Myrmidon] (1942).
