K8393 was delivered to the Fleet Air Arm 7 December 1936 and was issued to 824 Squadron in January 1937. 824 Squadron disembarked from the Eagle (1918) to Kai Tak between 6 May and 28 May, 19 October and 4 November and 5 November to 30 November 1937.
