Malaya (1915)
Plan shows a cancelled as fitted sections drawing for the Queen Elizabeth class battleship Malaya (1915). The drawing shows the follwing section stations looking forward: 9, 20, 31, 40, 64, 84, 96 and 108. It also shows the following section stations looking aft: 132, 150, 164, 184, 202, 226, 240 and 249 1/2. The plan shows alterations in green ink made at Portsmouth Yard, dated May 1924 and later alterations in blue ink, dated March 1929. Further alterations in sienna ink made at Malta Yard dated 31 Janaury 1928, are also present on the plan. This drawing was cancelled in 1936 and was superceded by NPB6412. An Armstrong Naval yard stamp, dated 31 March 1916 is present on the left hand side of the plan. A second Armstrong Naval yard stamp, bearing the signature of the Admiralty Overseer but no visible date, is present underneath the first stamp.
