Patch box
Oval enamelled patch box with a mirror inside the lid, commemorating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). The base and sides are a very pale pink. The white lid is inscribed: 'Hail, Nelson Hail / Thy naval Thunders roar / Humbl'd proud France / near Egypts fertile shore.'
