Napkin ring of Engineer Rear-Admiral Harold Hugh Huxham DSO (1881-1968).
Plain silver ring, hallmarked on the outer face and inscribed with the owner's monogram 'HHH' and a list of his ships and establishments, added throughout his naval career: 'FORMIDABLE MARS BERWICK EURYALUS LEVIATHAN SHANNON LENNOX REDGAUNTLET PENELOPE DARTMOUTH TIGER ROSYTH DOCKYARD CALCUTTA GREENWICH VICTORY PRESIDENT COVENTRY’.
Huxham was an Engineer Sub Lieutenant in HMS 'Formidable' in 1904, an Engineering Commander in 1925, and served in HMS 'Greenwich' in 1937.
