Cork Light Vessel
A starboard broadside view of Cork Light Vessel off Cork Bank, Harwich, taken from the light cruiser HMS Aurora (1913). Aurora left Harwich for manoeuvres off the coast that included range taking. The log also states that they took a bearing 22 miles of Smith's Knoll Light Vessel at midday on 22 May 1916 but are likely to have passed Cork LV on their way out and in bound to Harwich.
There are two light scratches across the negative at the level of the light vessel's mast.
