Boot
One of a pair of boots. Used on Nares' Arctic expedition 1875. A pair of canvas and leather boots. Leather sole and sides and two straps which lace across the instep of the foot. Square toes. Canvas uppers and legs with a drawstring below the knee. Worn in moderately cold conditions.
