A distant port side view of a Submarine Scout SS1-SS26 series non-rigid airship in flight over Sheerness. The airship is fitted with BE2c type car.

Aurora (1913) left Harwich for Chatham via Black Deep at 7am on 21 November 1916. She arrived at Sheerness at 1030am and disembarked her ammunition before proceeding to Chatham South Lock at 340pm. She underwent a refit and cleaning until December 1916. [Ship's log, ADM 53/34496].
