A timber block with an attached cutting of a poem 'On the loss of the Royal George' by Cowper. Printed on a label on the other side are the words: 'PART OF THE R. GEORGE. SUNK IN SPITHEAD 29 AUG 1782. BLOWN UP OCTBR 1839.' The verse is titled 'ON THE LOSS OF THE ROYAL GEORGE'. Inside OBJ0171.
