Silver snuff box
Silver snuff box with oak lid inset with a model of HMS 'Victory' under jury rig after Trafalgar. The model has paper sails and hair rigging and is set in a moulded and painted seascape and has a silver-mounted oval glass cover. On a brass plate: 'The Oak of this Box is part of a plank which was severed by a 36lb Shot from the Starboard gunnel of the VICTORY in the Glorious Battle of Trafalgar 21October 1805'.
