Box made from H.M.S. 'Victory'
Silver box with oak lid. In a silver mount on the lid is a miniature of Nelson in a hat. The box is rectangular with rounded corners. A silver plaque inside the lid is inscribed: 'The oak of this Box is part of a plank from the starboard gunnel of the Victory severed by a 36 lb shot in the Glorious Battle of Trafalgar 21 Octob. 1805.'
