Memoranda, reports and signals relating to the bombardment of Gallipoli, Yeni Keui and Examile carried out by the battleship HMS VENERABLE (1899) in the Gulf of Xeros on 16 July 1915. Included are a sketch of the hills above Yeni Keui and a report of the observations made by No 3 Kite Balloon Section, Royal Naval Air Service, operating from the requisitioned auxiliary HMS HECTOR (1895).
