Penny token, Gravesend, 1797. Two casts, obverse and reverse, (one cracked). Obverse: A two-masted vessel square-rigged on the main and lateen-rigged on the mizzen. Legend: 'GRAVESEND TOKEN'. Reverse: Naval crown with a royal crown above and crossed laurel branches below. Legend: 'NAVAL . PENNY'. Below: '1797'.
