Scale: 1:48. Shipbuilders half block model of cargo vessels Anna (1871) Britannia (1874), Germania (1874), Josefa (1872) and Virginia (1871). The hull is made entirely in wood and constructed in bread and butter fashion, finished in natural varnished wood below the waterline. The upperworks and bulwarks are finished in black gloss. The clipper shaped bow is complete with trailboards which run into a pair of thin, half-round upper wales running the length of the hull just below deck level. The backboard has been incorporated into the model: the upper edge of the deck along the centre line drops down to a moulded curve acting as a backboard to the hull.
