A starboard view, just forward of the broadside, of the cross Channel steamer St. Andrew (1908) under way entering Dover harbour while serving as an hospital ship. She is in hospital livery.

HMS Aurora (1913) left Harwich on 12 April and arrived at Dover at 1.05pm where she undertook night defence off the Downs. Aurora returned to Harwich on 20 April via Edinburgh Channel and Black Deep. [Ship's log, TNA, ADM 53/34496].
