HM Submarine C1 (1906) under way at Harwich, trimmed down.

A starboard broadside view of HM Submarine C1 (1906) under way at Harwich, trimmed down with just foredeck and conning tower above water. The river is very calm and smooth. In the background are a number of small fishing vessels and a Thames barge at moorings/anchor.

The negative has a crease on the right hand side but it does not affect the image.
