Ordnance model; Gun model
Scale: 1:12. Working model of a 4.7 pounder quick-firing naval gun (1916-1917). The model is made from steel, brass, with the whole model and mounting bolted onto an aluminium plinth. Various parts of both the gun and the mount are painted matt black. The gun itself has a number of working parts including a breech loading mechanism, gun sight and the mount, which rotates through 360 degrees and can be locked in position. The base is inscribed "4.7. Q.F. Naval Gun. 1916-1917."
