Ordnance model; Field gun model

Scale: 1:5. A model of a field gun and carriage, with limber made in wood with metal parts and fittings. The gun is cast in brass or bronze and patinated. It elevates on trunnions and the angle of elevation is controlled by a screw at the rear end of the gun, turned by a four-armed nut. The gun has provision for two magazine cases or equipment boxes for stowing either side of it and the carriage is supported by a pair of large twelve-spoked wooden wheels with iron hoops and fittings. At the rear end of the carriage is a pivoting iron handle. The limber has a pair of wheel identical to the carriage and has carries two large and equipped magazine cases. The rear of the limber has a long wooden beam projecting from its underside with a transverse iron bar for attaching to horses. The object is equipped with a water bucket and reamer.
