cat-o'-nine-tails

Cat-o'-nine-tails. Knotted version for punishing theft (replica). Wooden handle covered with green baize. The ends covered with red baize cut in zig zags, sewn with cotton. There are nine cords sunk in grooves in the handle, twisted to form a single cord, then split into three then nine. One knot in different places on each of the nine cords.
