Cocked hat
Said to have been worn by Midshipman Dauberey at the Battle of Copenhagen. Leather sweat band inside and red silk lining with inner lining with draw string to adjust size. The edges of the flaps are not bound but two pieces of black oak leaf pattern silk lace are sewn at angles across the front flap. Black cockade and military star loop. Tassels missing from each end. One end is torn across.
