Compass & Clinometer

Bowl: Brass and white metal painted black. Can be laid flat for compass or stood upright for clinometer. There is a telescope attachment through bowl. Bowl has a diameter bar which supports telescope secondary tube, compass card and clinometer card.Two stop screws on side of bowl and one compass card stop. Two stand brackets on outside and tripod attachment screw hole.
Cards: Compass: White metal graduated to points and to 360 degrees on flange. Diameter 1.75" (4.4cm) Clinometer: White metal graduated to degrees quadrantally on front and side.
Needle: Flat bar needle with weights on one arm. Jewelled pivot cap at centre.
Pivot: Steel pin has stop mechanism.
Telescope: O.G. cover of brass and jet. Can read flanged scale through it . Has wire lubber across lens. Length 5.75" (14.6cm)
In brown leather case.
