Rating's jumper. Russian summer uniform (1943 issue) of Senior Sailor, Battle Fleet. Navy blue flannel jumper with square collar and 'V' front. Two buttons sewn on inside 'V' front and buttonhole at back of jumper to attach blue and white striped collar. Plain blue cuffs with two gilt buttons on each. Buttons have an anchor embossed on them. On each shoulder a black strap - on each of which is one yellow stripe. Badge on left sleeve. Embroidered red three bladed ship's propellar superimposed on cog wheel within red circle on black background.
