Pocket watch

Pocket watch with a 'skeleton' revolving long-wind movement, which is visible from the front. It has a Waterbury duplex escapement and a brass balance. The watch also has a paper annular dial with Roman numerals and steel hands. It is keyless winding with no hand-setting. The watch has a plated white metal case, with a 'snap-on' bezel and back.

The Waterbury Watch Company in the USA made very inexpensive pocket watches that could be afforded by almost anyone. The Waterbury 'Long-Wind' watch had a very long mainspring to power it, which meant that it took a long time to wind every day.
