Cruiser/Cruizer class brig sloops launched from 1812 to 1815
Scale: 1:48. Plan showing the body plan with stern board outline, sheer lines and longitudinal half-breadth for Childers (1812), an 18-gun Brig Sloop (described as a brigantine on the plan) building at Portsmouth Dockyard.
The plan was later used for the rest of the class built between 1812 and 1815: consisting of Wasp (1812), Pelican (1812), Curlew (1812), Saracen (1812), Fairy (1812), Pandora (1813), Bacchus (1813), Fly (1813), Espiegle (1812), Satellite (1812), Arab (1812), Heron (1812), Dispatch/Despatch (1812), Epervier (1812), Argus (1813), Halcyon (1813), Challenger (1813), Victor (1814), Zebra (1815), Penguin (1813), Carnation (1813), Lynx (cancelled 1814?), Nimrod (1812), Jaseur (1813), Harrier (1813), Harlequin (1813), Alert (1813), Confiance (1813), Elk (1813), Ontario (1813), Belette (1814), Gannett (1814) and Grasshopper (1813).
