Grampus (1746)
Scale: 1:48. Plan showing the body plan, sheer lines with inboard detail, and longitudinal half-breadth for Grampus (1746), a 14-gun three-masted Ship Sloop, as converted to an 8-gun Fireship.
NMM, Progress Book, volume 2, folio 502, states that 'Grampus' was "paid off as a Sloop and order'd to be converted to a Fireship by Admiralty Order the 6th Jan'y 1762." She arrived at Sheerness Dockyard on 27 November 1761, and was docked on 16 January 1762. Grampus was undocked on 30 March 1762 having been fitted as a Fireship.
