Weighted silk flag embroidered with 'NILE' within a wreath including a rose, thistles and shamrocks. Presented to HMS 'Nile' 1839 by the ladies of Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1863 when Admiral Sir Alexander Milne was Commander in Chief on the North American Station. Ties attached.
