A 12 x 10 negative. A starboard broadside view of the Chilean Navy transport Angamos (1890) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. A report in the 28 September 1896 edition of "The Times" newspaper states "The Angamos, under the command of Rear Admiral Goni, will arrive at the Nore at an early date with over 1300 officers and men to man the fleet of warships building for Chile at the works of Lairds and Armstrongs.
