A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant port near broadside view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Gothic (1893) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. The Watkins tug Australia (1882), also seen from just ahead of her port beam, is alongside the liner's bow. The passenger ferries Thames (1868) and Sir W Raleigh (1855) are in the left background at the Tilbury pontoons.
