Ban Righ (1870)
A whole plate negative. A slightly distant port broadside view of the short sea passenger/cargo liner Ban Righ (1870) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is on a regular service from Aberdeen to London. A number of policemen are on the forecastle and some passengers are on deck aft. A mastless wooden hulled vessel is alongside a jetty on the Tilbury shore in the background.
