Britannia (1887)
A 10x8 negative. A port side view, taken from abaft the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Britannia (1887) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three yards on each of her fore and main masts and her staysail has been set, presumably to dry. Tilbury is in the background. A copy negative of a photographic print produced from a 12x10 glass plate negative which has been broken and discarded.
