Chyebassa (1874)
A whole plate negative. A starboard near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Chyebassa (1874) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three yards on her foremast and is flying the blue peter. She has an awning rigged aft and the twin funnelled paddle tug Lord Warden (1868) is alongside. An unidentified steam launch is in the left foreground. Tilbury is in the background. Negatives numbers G1973, G1981, G1989 and G1994 were taken on the same occasion.
