City of York (1904)
A 12x10 negative. A distant port near broadside view, taken from just abaft the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner City of York (1904) turning in Gravesend Reach, River Thames, with the aid of a tug connected to her starboard bow. A steam launch is alongside forward and an unidentified screw tug is standing off amidships. The paddle steamer Royal Sovereign (1893) is bound down on the right. Tilbury is in the background.
