Dolphin (1883)
A 12x10 negative. A port very near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the tug/tender Dolphin (1883) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. Five crew members are on deck. She has gaff sails fitted to her masts and is flying her name pennant. Tilbury is in the background. She sailed for East London, South Africa, in June and arrived in July 1883.
