Her Majesty (1877)
A whole plate negative. A copy of an unsigned and undated naive painting of a paddle tug named Her Majesty under way in coastal waters. It is assumed that this is the tug that was built by Allsup & Sons at Preston in 1877 and which operated on the Thames between 1877 and 1881. The tug is seen from off her starboard beam. The detailing is basic and the brush strokes can be clearly seen.
