Johannesburg (1895)

A 12x10 negative. A port near broadside view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the cargo liner Johannesburg (1895) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is as built with short funnel and turtle backed poop. A small steam launch is alongside amidships and a twin funnelled Watkins tug is alongside her starboard side forward. Tilbury is in the background.
