A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Manila (1892) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is flying the blue peter and a pilot flag and has a tug alongside her starboard side aft. The bow of the tug Britannia (1887) is on the right and the stern of an unidentified tug is on the left. Tilbury is in the background.
