Matatua (1904)
A 12x10 negative. A distant starboard side view, taken from well abaft the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Matatua (1904) making headway in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is bound down passing Tilbury Docks and Tilbury Hotel and a steam launch is alongside her accommodation ladder, presumably to take off the pilot. The paddle tug Cambria (1870) is escorting close alongside and a screw tug is following astern.
