Minnewaska (1909)
A 12x10 negative. A port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Minnewaska (1909) just getting under way from her anchorage in Gravesend Reach, River Thames, bound out for New York. A small steam launch is alongside amidships and a tug is connected to her bow. Tilbury Hotel is in the background. Negatives numbers G156, G971, G976 and G1179 were all taken on the same occasion.
