Nankin (1872)
A whole plate negative. A port near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Nankin (1872) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has an auxiliary barquentine rig with double topsails and a single topgallant on her foremast. Tilbury is in the background. The horizon is not level.
