Norseman (1897)
A 12x10 negative. A port very near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Norseman (1897) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is in Dominion line livery but is on charter to the Aberdeen Line for the London to Sydney, NSW service. The passenger ferries Gertrude (1906) and Rose (1901) are alongside transferring passengers and the Watkins tug Arcadia (1895) is berthed outboard of the Gertrude (1906).
