Orient (1879)
A whole plate negative. A painting of the passenger/cargo liner Orient (1879) under way at sea. The ship is shown from off her port side, just ahead of the beam, and she has been fitted with a topgallant forecastle and turtleback poop. She has her original short funnels and yards on her fore and main masts as in service 1886-1890. A duplicate of negative number G1384.
