A 12x10 negative. A starboard broadside view of the passenger/cargo liner Oriental (1889) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. There are a number of uniformed men on board and a large number of civilian passengers. The passenger ferry Carlotta (1893) is alongside. Tilbury Fort gatehouse and the Coast Guard Watch Vessel CGWV.28 (1847) are in the background.
