Ormuz (1886); Thames (1868)
A 12x10 negative. A port near broadside view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Ormuz (1886) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is flying the blue peter and a pilot flag. There are no yards on her masts. A line is running from the bow to a tug (out of the picture) and a man is standing on the mooring buoy ready to disconnect the lines. The passenger ferry Thames (1868) is alongside forward and a steam passenger launch is alongside amidships. Tilbury is in the background.
