A 12x10 negative. A fair quality port near broadside view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Pericles (1908) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is lightly laden and is flying the blue peter. The passenger ferry Catherine (1903) is alongside the aft accommodation ladder. Tilbury Hotel is in the left background.
